Dragon-Con was a success. Apparently some 55 thousand people attended the convention this year. I did not get to make it to many of the panels but one of the few I did make it to deserves being mentioned. Borderlands 2 was full of excitement and information about the game that comes out on Sept. 18th. I could hardly stay in my seat and I am certain that I'll be doing some fan art pieces for this game within the next few weeks.

Now on to the even greater news! I had done a small trading card size piece of Rogue from The Cruxshadows (A really great band), and the always perform at Dragon-Con. If you like electronic music and great lyrics I highly recommend you listen to the Cruxshadows. Anyways, I made prints of this art piece at the trading card size and at postcard size and presented them to Rogue (the lead singer) and he loved them. So we sold some at their booth throughout the con.

I will be posting this piece of art once I get back home. Until then just know that more Cruxshadows inspired art will be coming by next years Dragon-Con. There is even some talk of there being a tee shirt.

I vote for the "Past, Present, Future" doodle of the dancers as a piece. :D
